Self-care

This concept really resonates with me for at least two reasons. First, it recognizes that it it does take mental toughness to eat well and to exercise. Secondly, it recognizes that these are foundational to being our best selves in the world. While we certainly don’t all need to be training for long-distance triathlon (and I at times feel selfish for doing so), we do need to care for ourselves before we can be the best at caring for others and making an impact in the world!
